Jack's News!

by your bookstore cat,  gossip columnist, and feline friend.

No one has sent me any real news this week.  Things have been quiet around here, too. Roger has been practicing his guitar quite a lot. He played for Mrs. Bradshaw's 100th birthday party. I guarded the case for him.

Arline is working on the payroll. She is Grumpy, as a sunburnt, hairless chihuahua, cause sales have been down all summer. So the good news is you will all be paid pretty soon, though it may not be in the kind of figures figures we could all wish for.

She did find time to hunt through the Christmas Decorations and find my right mousie! I knew she had it somewhere! The color (blue calico) is a bit strange and the white button eyes look a little crossed, but it smells just right! Deep Sigh. I am a happy boy! Loud purrs.

(Note from Arline: Author Terry L. White made Jack three special mousies for Christmas. I gave him one, and stored the others in a plastic bag with catnip inside to keep for later. At least he's stopped dogging my footsteps and yowling every two minutes.)

If you are going to have a book signing somewhere,
make a personal appearance, or are
planning a launch party where you live,
please let ME KNOW. Just put
NEWS FOR JACK, in the subject line,
and we will be sure your news
is included here in the blog and posted on Facebook!
