This week was mostly devoted to data entry for sales so Authors can be paid. That progresses well, but is very time consuming as data entry for sales from all our outlets is a long an tedious business. We are very careful as we want our authors to be paid correctly and for everything.
Unlike many publishers, we pay quarterly and usually we pay every penny due, no matter how small the amount.
A good many authors who hadn't sold in awhile, have sales this quarter. Tells us many of you have been working the Internet. Well done. Mention that book on Facebook, and ask your friends to "share." It works. Posting reviews for others' books on amazon is also a good idea. Remember you get to mention your name and your titles in the signature behind every review you post, so helping other authors out, helps you at the same time.
Sales were generally down for this quarter, though. They usually are for the spring quarter, as folks are gardening and being outside more. It will pick up next quarter though. Beach Reading Season begins July 4.
