Barbara Garro
is still looking for  ideas to tie her new Poetry book

to a
Valentine's Day Promotion
Here's what she wrote to me, her favorite Bookstore Cat:
Dear Jack,

For my latest book "Love Bites," I am planning to do a Valentine's Day Gift Invitational and Suggestions would be appreciated.  Just ask them to e-mail me at Barbara_Garro@yahoo.com

Here are a few of my own ideas, but I sure would like some fresh ones from your readers.

1.  Want to know what works in dating and what does not work? Read the 102 poems in "Love Bites."

2.  Imagine being a fly on the wall throughout an entire romantic lifetime in 102 poems with all the boring parts taken out....

3.  Beginning with "Love is all there is here," Barbara Garro spent 33 years chronicling her love life in 102 poems of the most memorable experiences in her latest book "Love Bites," 2016 Cambridge Books ISBN 978-1-61386-390-9 $19.95, available at Smashwords E-Book and on Amazon infor Kindle & in Soft Cover.

Would love to hear which pitch you like or any suggestion for a pitch that is better than what you see here.

Also we sure enjoyed a visit from one of our favorite authors this week. A. M. Foley who lives on beautiful Elliotts Island where even the feral cats are Siamese stopped in to see us an brought us a copy of her newest book.
We sure have been enjoying all her stories about the "Lost Atlantis of the Chesapeake,"and I unserstand she is already researching for her next one that will be about the Prohibition Era on the Chelsapeake. Those were sure some interesting times. I know because Arline mentioned them in passing when she wrote the book that commemorated her Dad's 90th Birthday.
He sure was a great guy and I used to love to sit on his shoulder while we watched the Orioles play together.

PLEASE don't YOU forget to send me news of any personal appearances, signings and so on... so I'll have some gossip to pass on next week.

Just send an e-mail to arline@mail.com with
 "News for Jack"
 in the subject line, and
I'll make sure it shows up here for all the world to see!
