News Flash!
Hi!
My name is Jack Dempsey. I'm now officially your bookstore cat. For those under sixty, I was named for a once-famous boxing champ due to my front paws. Yes, they do look like boxing gloves and I have been known to use them on occasion. Get over it. I'm a tomcat...okay?
Secretly, of course, I have been running things around here for some time. She's been slow, I'll grant you, but I've pretty well got Arline trained now. Trust me, I know a good book when I see one, handle all complaints, and I'm always up for pets and treats.
Jack,
We'll be nice to Jack. He looks pretty formidable.
ReplyDeleteHe's a real butterball. I am sure missing his older sister. She was 23. And no long than a week ago let Jack know who was boss of this household!
