Books that Went to Press, or went to press again this week
RED YEAR by Jan Shapin
“SET IN RUSSIA AND CHINA during the 1920s, this beautifully written novel tells the story of a true American dreamer—a woman who charged into danger in search of passion, justice and some money to pay her bills. A fascinating story."

Galleys went out for the following this week:

IS JESUS SERIOUS? A Garro Guide for Christians
If, like me, you struggle with some of the behaviors Jesus asks of His followers and with St. Paul's telling us we are called to be saints, I write this 4th Volume in The Jesus Series, "Is Jesus Serious?" to speak to Christians' personal struggles to meet Jesus's and Paul's expectations.

LAKE EERIE: Haunted Homicide, by Thornton Parsons
The police photographer snapped pictures of the body in the rowboat. Special Agent McCreary ruminated on the initial K that Renda had written in her own blood—she had recognized her killer! Trapped in a dark future between here and the hereafter, Renda Rousseau finds that even in death, she cannot escape the weasel with the Coke-bottle glasses who murdered her family. Despite her ethereal rage, she is unable to contact her twin sister, Brenda, who knows that Renda is still at the lake house. But, why? Renda will capture your heart as you join her on her heart-stopping quest to leave her ghostly realm and join David and her children in Heaven. But how? Is she doomed to haunt the lake house for eternity? Relive this riveting tale of love, betrayal, and death with Renda as she makes her way back Home. Or does she?

Finally! The last volume in the ever-popular Legacy Series, a 4 volume time-travel series that is every bit as intriguing as Outlander.

Haunted Circles: A Hannah Pitkin Griswold Mystery, Vol. 4.
Most freshmen at the university swear that there are ghosts on campus, but Hannah Pitkin Griswold knows the truth. There is one ghost seeking help, the kind of help only Hannah can provide.

Life travels in circles that connect through time. These circles need to meet if spirits are to ever rest. Entering her freshman year of college Hannah runs headlong into a ghost striving to complete a circle of life derailed a hundred years ago.

Can Hannah help the spirit realign her path? Will this spirit be forever searching for a love missing since World War One?

More importantly will Hannah herself complete a circle that has been haunting her since eighth grade?

HI Everyone,

Heard from Andy Nunez this week as he sent the info for  GHOSTS III. his third collection of Ghost Stories, Boo!

Here at home, things are still pretty strange. Arline has been crazy ever since she broke the computer, so I was really releived when the new one got here. Monday Roger had a fall and broke a rib. They were gone away all day Tuesday and came home looking worried and talking about something called ER.  He just sat there and looked pale. He is feeling pretty bad I guess. He hasn't even fed us at all this week, and Spunky and me prefer him to do it, because he's a bit more generous. (Arline is always worrying about our weight.)

Poor Roger. He just just sits in the Chair and hardly says anything. He doesn't even go to bed at night. I mean some things are important!  How's a kitty to know when it's time for his bedtime treat, if nobody goes to bed???

Meanwhile if any of you, My Favorite Authors, are going to conferences, holding book signings, or have any news or some good gossip for me.
Just drop an e-mail to: arline@mail.com
