No Books Went to Press this week:

LAKE EERIE: Haunted Homicide, by Thornton Parsons
The police photographer snapped pictures of the body in the rowboat. Special Agent McCreary ruminated on the initial K that Renda had written in her own blood—she had recognized her killer! But, why? Renda will capture your heart as you join her on her heart-stopping quest to leave her ghostly realm and join David and her children in Heaven. But how? Is she doomed to haunt the lake house for eternity? Relive this riveting tale of love, betrayal, and death with Renda as she makes her way back Home. Or does she?

Finally! The last volume in the ever-popular Legacy Series, a 4 volume time-travel series that is every bit as intriguing as Outlander.

Haunted Circles: A Hannah Pitkin Griswold Mystery, Vol. 4.

Most freshmen at the university swear that there are ghosts on campus, but Hannah Pitkin Griswold knows the truth. There is one ghost seeking help, the kind of help only Hannah can provide.

Life travels in circles that connect through time. These circles need to meet if spirits are to ever rest. Entering her freshman year of college Hannah runs headlong into a ghost striving to complete a circle of life derailed a hundred years ago.

Can Hannah help the spirit realign her path? Will this spirit be forever searching for a love missing since World War One?

More importantly will Hannah herself complete a circle that has been haunting her since eighth grade?

Jack's News

by your Official Bookstore Cat,
and Gossip Columnist.
HI Everyone,
Jack here, your favorite bookstore cat.  I heard from our friends at Writers Bloc, about their meeting last week:
Update for members of the Writers Bloc from Ann Foley.
Hope you all are on your toes and keeping your calendars up with events and locations for November. This coming Saturday, November 11 the Bloc has a table reserved at Westside Historical Society's event at the Salisbury MAC center. This is the Antique and Collectible Appraisal with many additional attractions...something for everyone. Full details on www.HollandIslandBook.com. Let someone know if you'd like to have a space at the table. [I plan to be there, but have no copies of Noir, so I hope someone else is supplying them.)

Meeting day, November 18, the Friends of Salisbury Library hold their book sale and need all the meeting rooms downstairs, so we will again meet from 1 to 3 p.m. in Seaford at their lush new library facility. We've invited the public to come sample a Bloc meeting. Seaford District Library and Jerry Sciortino are spreading that news. Jerry has this on The Writers Bloc facebook page and is available for directions. The library is tucked across from the Ross Mansion, if that helps.

The assignment for November is 500 words or less on “Travel” or “Traveling” (literally or figuratively).
As for around Home, now that it's November, Arline is back to work on her novel. Boy are me and Roger glad of that. Roger has been practicing up on Holiday music in his daily concerts, too.

Sid is feeling better now that most of the crops are in. He had time to fix the starter on Roger's Pickup, too .They still have some soy beans in the field, and hope to finish them all soon, if it ever stops raining.

Kathy brought us a turkey for Thanksgiving already! She's such a thoughtul and nice person. Boy, is that a big Bird! You should've seen Spunky's big gray eyes when she saw it. So all is well with us. Hope the same for all of you!

Meanwhile if any of you, My Favorite Authors, are going to conferences, holding book signings, or have any news or some good gossip for me.
