Jack's News!
by your bookstore cat,
and gossip columnist!
and gossip columnist!
The only news I had this week was from Andy Nunez, who sent in a big order and said half of them were "sold already." PIRATES seems to be proving as popular as expected. I don't know much about Pirates, but I do understand that many bos'uns mates had cats. Somebody told me they had Nine Tails! Now that I do not believe!
In Memorium
So Dave did get home on Wednesday, but his oldest girl wasn't there to meet him. Friday is acting sad and learning how to be an "only dog." Meanwhile, Chrissy was laid to rest in the woods behind the house, with help from a neighbor. All their neighbors have been very helpful. Dave is pretty sick, too. Lots of pain and nausea. Arline will be going down for a few days next week, because Shelley has to go back to work.
Please don't
forget to let me know
what you are all up to!
Just send me an e-mail
with
